Introduction

The Peshitta: Peshitta is derived from the Syriac literally meaning "simple version". However, it is also possible to translate pšîṭtâ as "common" (that is, for all people), or "straight", as well as the usual translation as "simple". Simplicity is the key of approaching scripture.

Aramaic can only be spoken and understood through the heart. An intellectual person without heart contact will not grab hold or understand the language’s depth.

Not many people are able to hear this song of the heart. Therefore, we deaf must sing Ineno Rakhmo (‘I am unconditional love and mercy’) until the heart’s healing and again become an audible and quality in mankind’s life.

In the West the various languages are connected through the Latin and Greek language family. One can say that Greek, is masculine, rational, pragmatic, scientific and exclusive; a language that distinguishes itself by being precise. In that way, GREEK is unique.

 

But there is another, almost forgotten language, based on a completely different and an unfamiliar view a forever fresh (holistic) approach: the Aramaic language.

This language has a special built into it that embraces the hearts the community rather than divides, welcomes interpretation and what tradition calls prophecy and is therefore completely incomprehensible for the majority of people in the Western world.

Aramaic is the language of the angels the holy language a language of empathy and prophecy. The language of humans is signs and symbols. The semantics of these signs and symbols is dependent on mankind’s ability to raise its consciousness towards love, empathy and prophecy in the world.

The Aramaic language is feminine, intuitive, visionary, empathic, poetic, spiritually based and inclusive. A concept in Aramaic, as a rule, has several layers of meaning: up to five, six, even seven layers, leads to completion.
