Dear Friends,

 

Blessings and Greetings from your brothers in Christ in Jerusalem.   We are glad to announce that the situation with COVID in Israel is improving, and the gates of the country are now open for tourism, but we find ourselves in a gap of timing for the groups to actually arrive to Israel.

The Israeli government stopped subsidizing salaries for all tourism sectors from June 2021.  Twins Tours was immediately affected by this financial loss, and we are making this appeal for your help.  Twins Tours is the only Tour Agency that kept all our 9 staff employed, and all the other Tour Agencies laid off their employees.  The Twins Tours team is committed to our mission, ministry, and calling of reconciliation in the Holy Land in the activity of our prayerful tours.  This is best accomplished through the living witness of unity between the Body of Christ in the East and the West.

The Twins Tours team has faith that our supporters that believe in this unique ministry will stand with us even in hard times.  We will continue and we trust that the Lord will provide, since the cushion of savings that sustained us since June has now run out.  Please join us in prayer as we take steps forward in this appeal for financial help.

We chose to keep the Twins Tours employees working during this season of no tourism, because each of them is highly trained and uniquely specialized to serve our dear clients.  Our goal is to be ready with this dynamic and gifted team to welcome back the tourists in 2022.

Our first tour will be in February 2022, but the revenue stream will have a slow start.  We are asking you prayerfully to consider supporting our staff for the period of 6 months, through either a one-time gift or monthly, to help us reach our goal and cover the cost of keeping our team working hard.  We need 40 people or Churches to give $900 each, on a monthly basis because our total expenses for Twins Tours is $36,000 each month.  Of course any other amount you can give either in one-time or monthly donation is a great blessing.

In the meantime, the Twins Tours team is keeping busy working together to create more unique digital resources such as: Audio & Video Teachings, Articles, Low Cost Online Courses, Virtual Tours, and Podcasts.  In gratitude for any donation, we will give you access to some of our online teaching materials; we are developing new content continuously. We are doing everything within our power to generate revenue and we have faith that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
